Hamlora Support

Hamlora is a pixel-art medieval village that lives above your macOS Dock. Villagers carry, build and invent, and the village grows over time.

How to use

• When Hamlora starts, an icon appears in the menu bar; use its menu to show/hide the village and view events and the chronicle.
• Open Settings from the menu to choose language, launch at login, day length, season, performance and village scale.
• Dock icon option: in Settings, choose whether to show the Dock icon or run from the menu bar only.
• The village reacts to the category of the app currently in front (e.g. coding, design, browsing).

FAQ

• Does Hamlora collect data? No. It has no network connection; see the Privacy page.
• My village is gone? The save is stored locally on this Mac only and does not move to another Mac automatically.
• Start at login? Turn on 'launch at login' in Settings.
• How do I reduce resource use? Lower the performance and scale options in Settings.
